Anushka

Anushka (real name: Maha Lakshmi) did her schooling and college in Bangalore. She was born in Mangalore, and her mother tongue is Tulu. After completing graduation in Computer Applications (BCA), she was not interested to get into the already replete software industry and instead wanted to get into the fitness world. Then she became a Yoga instructer. Puri Jagannadh happened to see Anushka through another director and she got selected for Super. Some flops disappointed her in 2008 but she started 2009 with a black buster hit of Arundhati.
