Not much bigger than an orange, one Mod1 speaker is capable of delivering crisp sound to any room better than those massive waist-high square footage destroyers of yore. Powering these tiny wonders is the packaged amp (which is smaller then a Nintendo Wii console, to give you some scale), thats powerful enough to crank the Mod1 speakers up to 11... or 40 watts if you're caught up on using actual units of measurements.
The amp itself has up to three RCA inputs allowing you to use the Mod1's as more than just computers speakers. You can hook them up to any TV, media player, or iPod, and rock out in an attempt to drown out your neighbor's unending banging on the wall while yelling, "Turn that shit down!"
Orb Audio's website allows you to customize your audio package to add more of their tastefully mod-designed speakers, or to add a subwoofer for deeper, rich bass. So instead of putting a few mortage payments down on a tinny system out of a box, set up your own Mod1 speaker set to fit your space.
