Nothing seems to have shattered the spirits of Mani Rathnam with the below average reception of ‘Ravanan’. It’s because of global glorifications as the film has been winning heavy praises across various international film festivals.
Mani Rathnam’s film usually release with a long gap of 2-3 years. Although, he might have completed working on scripts at the earliest, he spends quality time over production values. It seems that the director has three scripts, amongst which one is a Hindi film and another one for Dhanush while third one will have a bigger star-cast.
The latest we hear is that the director is now eying on adaptation of famous Tamil novel ‘Ponniyin Selvan’. According to the reports, it will be either Kamal Haasan or Vikram playing the lead role.
