Biography : 
Neetu Chandra was born on 20th June in Bihar. Hailing from a middle class family in Patna, she has been economically supporting herself since 12th standard. The deep-rooted yearning to become an actress compelled her to move to Mumbai from Delhi where she studied. She passed out of Notre Dame Academy in Patna in 2001, and dreamt of entering the modeling world. She has done dozens of ads and video films for reputed firms since her graduation days in Delhi\'s IP College. She did various advertisements for brands like Mak Lubricant, Mint-O Fresh, IDEA Mobile, Stayfree, ICICI, Maska Chaska, Hero Honda and Cadbury. She got opportunities to perform in a video for Abhijeet and for Bombay Vikings. Neetu with her strong sports background is a basketball player as well as a martial artist. A black belt holder in Taekwando, she played for Bihar in the last three National Games and represented India four times internationally, securing the Prime minister\'s award as well. She is a national games Silver Medal winner in Taek-won-do. She is a trained Kathak dancer. She got her debut role when renowned director Priyadarshan selected her to play the role of an alluring airhostess in the comedy Hindi film Garam Masala, opposite Akshay Kumar and John Abraham along with veterans like Paresh Rawal. The simple and hardworking girl gave so a stunning performance that she was offered the role of a Kathiawadi street girl who sells gajras, mirror-work and embroidery on the footpath to earn a livelihood in Madhur Bhandarkar\'s Traffic Signal, last of the trilogy alongside Konkona Sen. A highly talented actress, she is the life member of International Film and Television Club of Asian Academy of Film & Television.
